Three Individuals Arrested for Breaking into Local Elementary School

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – In the early hours of Monday morning, local Memphis police apprehended three individuals who were allegedly in the midst of burglarizing an elementary school. The suspects, identified as Jordan Hanson, Jesse Perez, and Krystle Grant, were taken into custody shortly after an alarm was triggered at Shady Grove Elementary School around 3 a.m.

Details of the Incident

The intruders were discovered through surveillance footage, which depicted Hanson inside the school, apparently removing items from various rooms. Upon detecting the presence of law enforcement, the suspects reportedly attempted to flee the scene but were quickly detained by the police. Incriminating evidence was reportedly found on Hanson’s person as a backpack he was carrying contained a loaded firearm, the police said.

Charges Filed

As a result of their alleged actions, Hanson, Perez, and Grant face multiple charges, including burglary, trespassing, and evading arrest. Authorities continue to investigate the motives behind the break-in and the exact valuables which were targeted. The three suspects have pending court dates, and it is not known if any of them have secured legal representation at this time.
