As summer heats up in Memphis, the concert scene is keeping pace with a diverse slate of performances scheduled for July. Music lovers can look forward to everything from Christian music gatherings to R&B festivals, hard rock veterans to jazz greats, big pop stage productions to soul sessions.

Featuring the 1987 album, “Power To Overcome” by Robert Clayborne, the Memphis Listening Lab will host a session on the legend’s work. The event, presented in conjunction with radio station WYXR, is free and more information can be found at Memphislisteninglab.org.
The alt-pop hitmakers Goo Goo Dolls will take the stage at the Radians Amphitheater as part of the Live at the Garden concert series on July 12. Lawn tickets are priced at $84 and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com.
