A Grand Celebration of Juneteenth: A Family Reunion by TONE

Memphis is all set to celebrate a weekend of culture and community, brought to you by TONE. The Juneteenth: A Family Reunion will span over the weekend from June 14th to 16th, offering back-to-back events that celebrate Black culture and the spirit of unity.

Gear up for the Spades Tournament

Starting off the weekend is the Spades tournament hosted at the TONE Gallery on Friday, June 14th. This is a serious competition, where teams go head-to-head in each round vying for the cash prize as well as the bragging rights of being the Spade Champion.

Saturate in Elegance at the Gala and Afterparty

Following the Spades tournament is the thrilling Gala and Afterparty at the Orange Mound Lounge on Saturday, June 15th. An evening designed for fashion, beauty, and charitable contributions, the Gala follows a unique theme each year. This year, the theme is – Revival: Sunday’s Best, a crucial part of the Black Southern culture. It is an opportunity for guests to dress their best, showcasing their personal flair with elegance and grandeur.

Experience the Juneteenth Festival Extravaganza

Rounding off the weekend is the annual Juneteenth Festival at the Orange Mound Tower on Sunday, June 16th. It’s a family-friendly all-day event marking the end of the remarkable celebration. Housing an array of food trucks, exciting festivities, it’s particularly known for its awe-inspiring performances by both local artists and celebrity headliners. This year’s line-up includes phenomenal performers such as Juicy J, Curren$y, DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown a.k.a. Erykah Badu, and Hitkidd.
