The upcoming changes to the Memphis 3.0 plan promise two key outcomes that are sure to spark interest among residents: a focus on increased community input and a comprehensive city-wide rezoning proposal. Now, rest easy—this proposed rezoning won’t mess with existing city council or school zones. Instead, it will mainly affect commercial and residential properties, redefining where different types of development can occur in the city.
