Patricia Clay, who oversees operations for Cheyenne Total Care, shared the abundance of services available at the gathering. “Whether it’s respite services, homemaker service, or meal prep, we strive to cater to the individual needs of our clients. Today, we want to show our support,” Clay explained.

Attendees were treated to a variety of free services that aimed to meet their specific needs. “Our clients have told us, ‘Oh, I need my hair cut but I don’t have anybody to take me’ or ‘I want to get my nails done, but I don’t have anybody to go with me,’” Kameisha noted. There were booths with helpful resources about things like insurance and dental care, making it a one-stop shop for veterans seeking assistance.

Among the veterans attending was Bobbie Henderson, who served four years in the U.S. Coast Guard. Henderson expressed his gratitude, saying, “It makes me and other veterans feel appreciated because for a long time we were not.
