As of Saturday, reports indicated that approximately 2,300 customers were still in the dark, and local officials are highly attentive to those ongoing concerns. Just this past Saturday, the Mid-South was under a tornado watch until 3:00 a.m., with the area experiencing a rare Level 4 Risk Zone for severe weather.

Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 4:01 a.m. CT. While Thursdays tend to usher in the season, the weather will take a bit of a cool turn with highs expected in the mid to upper 50s. For those who revel in a sunny day, Friday is your day—sunny and milder with highs reaching the mid to upper 60s!

Looking at Saturday, things will warm up a bit more with mostly sunny skies and highs pushing into the low 70s. Unfortunately, keep your umbrellas handy for Sunday, as showers and storms might make another appearance, also hitting highs in the low 70s.
