Sponsor Our ArticlesMemphis residents can expect a delightful weather update as spring approaches. Tuesday brings mild temperatures in the mid-70s and clear skies, although breezy conditions should be anticipated. However, Wednesday threatens storms with strong winds and hail expected. As we reflect on recent severe weather impacts on the region, it’s a reminder of spring’s unpredictability. Mark your calendars for the official start of spring on March 20, 2025, and prepare for a mix of pleasant and turbulent weather this week.
Memphis, it’s time to shake off those winter blues! Currently, the temperature here is a cool one, but the skies are mostly clear, making it a beautiful morning. Residents are reminded that they might need to don jackets for their morning commute, but don’t forget to grab your sunglasses for later today as the sun will make its grand appearance.
If you’re looking forward to a warmer afternoon, you’re in luck! Tuesday is shaping up to be quite pleasant with expected high temperatures reaching the mid-70s. And guess what? The chance of rain today is a big fat 0%. Perfect for those outdoor errands or a stroll in the park! However, be prepared for some breezy conditions with winds blowing at about 15 to 20 mph. So while it’s nice outside, make sure your lightweight layers are secure!
Just for reference, the sun will rise in Memphis today at 7:06 a.m. CT, giving us plenty of daylight to soak in the beautiful spring weather.
Similar to Tuesday, Wednesday’s high temperatures are expected to hover around the mid-70s, making it an interesting day for weather watchers.
As of Saturday, reports indicated that approximately 2,300 customers were still in the dark, and local officials are highly attentive to those ongoing concerns. Just this past Saturday, the Mid-South was under a tornado watch until 3:00 a.m., with the area experiencing a rare Level 4 Risk Zone for severe weather.
Looking at Saturday, things will warm up a bit more with mostly sunny skies and highs pushing into the low 70s. Unfortunately, keep your umbrellas handy for Sunday, as showers and storms might make another appearance, also hitting highs in the low 70s.
