Memphis Young Entrepreneur Aiden Hubbard Sweetens Community with Mr. Lemon-Aiden Lemonade Stand

Memphis Wonder Kid Stirs Up Sweet Success with Mr. Lemon-Aiden

Meet the Young Entrepreneur Making Waves in the Memphis Business Scene

In the vibrant city of Memphis, a remarkable young entrepreneur has turned a childhood dream into a bustling business that is capturing hearts and taste buds alike. Twelve-year-old Aiden Hubbard, also known as “Mr. Lemon-Aiden,” is not your typical kid. He’s a kidpreneur who has been recognized multiple times for his impressive contributions to the community and his entrepreneurial spirit.

From Simple Idea to Sweet Success

It all started when Aiden was just 6 years old. One day, he turned to his mom, Anbria Crawford, and said he wanted to have a lemonade stand. “We made the lemonade together,” Aiden explained, “and the next morning, I had a lemonade stand at my family member’s yard sale.” Little did they know that this small idea would blossom into a successful business that has earned him the first-ever Kidprenuer of the Year Award during last year’s Regional Economic Development Awards.

Not only did he snag this prestigious award, but he has also been recognized three times for having the highest business potential at the Memphis Children Business Fair. Aiden didn’t stop there. He also took home the awards for best presentation and fan favorite during the same event. Talk about making a splash!

Flavors That Dazzle

What’s the magic behind Mr. Lemon-Aiden? Aiden crafts delicious fruit-infused lemonade drinks that come in an array of tantalizing flavors: strawberry, raspberry, pineapple, and peach are just a few of his delightful offerings. The standout flavor? Aiden’s personal favorite, blueberry! Not only does he serve up refreshing beverages, but he also adds treats like lemon and lime pie, homemade pound cake, and smoothie pops for good measure.

Inspiring the Next Generation

Aiden isn’t just busy making lemonade; he also has three younger siblings who look up to him. His mom beams with pride as she shares, “I’m super excited and proud that he’s able to be a good example for them.” She hopes that one day, his siblings might become entrepreneurs themselves, or at the very least, develop a business mindset. “They can do whatever it is they set their mind to at any age,” she emphasizes.

“It’s something, like he said, that he started…an idea that he had when he was six. I’m just glad that he stuck with it and seeing the growth,” Anbria adds.

Support from the Community

Aiden has drawn attention not just from fellow entrepreneurs but also from local leaders. He’s had close interactions with some of the top executives in Memphis and even received a shoutout from Shelby County Mayor Lee Harris, who expressed his admiration on social media, saying, “I’m a big fan of him and his juice company, Mr. Lemon-Aiden. Way to go!”

Life Beyond Business

When he’s not stirring up sweet success, Aiden is just a regular kid, balancing his time between school at Woodland Presbyterian School and enjoying activities like golf, swimming, and gaming with friends. He shows that while business is important, being a kid is just as crucial.
