Rapper Arrested and Charged with Murder in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A prominent local figure, known in the music circles as the rapper, Bake Bizzle, now faces stiff charges in the aftermath of a violent incident. The individual, whose real name is Prentez Baines, has been apprehended and charged by the Memphis Police Department in relation to a deadly shooting.

Discovery of the Crime Scene

Officers were dispatched in response to a shooting call in May of 2020 on Havana Street. Upon arriving at the scene, they revealed the victim, a young man, lying dead behind a dumpster. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Culprit Identified After Investigations

After rigorous probing and examination of the evidence at hand, police were able to identify Prentez Baines as the chief suspect in the murder. In due course, they unearthed that Baines and the deceased had been engaged in a drug transaction that had taken a tragic turn.

The Ill-fated Drug Deal

Investigations revealed that Baines was negotiating with his future victim over $25,000 worth of marijuana. The deal fell through with serious consequences, leading to the brutal killing.

Charges Against the Rapper

Baines, known in the local music industry as rapper Bake Bizzle, was taken into custody on May 8, 2024. He now faces serious allegations of first-degree murder and aggravated burglary.
